Frequently Asked Questions

I specialize exclusively in EMDR Intensives rather than traditional weekly appointments. This intensive format creates opportunities for deeper healing and produces more significant outcomes in a condensed timeframe, helping clients experience relief more quickly.

I provide flexibility with both formats! You can choose in-home sessions in Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas, or connect with me virtually if you're located in Texas, Colorado, or Florida. Some clients appreciate the convenience and privacy of participating from their own space, while others value face-to-face interaction. The choice is entirely based on what feels right for you.

EMDR Intensive appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday, between 9am and 4pm. Weekends are available on a case by case basis. Due to the specialized nature of this work, intensives are generally booked 1-3 months ahead of time.

My intensive approach means we have extended sessions with less frequent meetings. This concentrated format creates space for meaningful work and faster progress. Each EMDR Intensive includes two components:

1. Initial Planning Session (90 minutes)

2. Core Intensive Sessions (3 hours per session)

The 90-minute intake session is $300, and each 3-hour intensive session is $700. This investment reflects the depth and concentrated nature of the work we'll do together.

I operate on a private-pay basis and don't bill insurance directly. Payment can be made via credit card, FSA, or HSA.

I'm glad to provide documentation (a superbill/receipt) that you can submit to your insurance provider to request potential reimbursement for a portion of your investment.

Keep in mind that coverage for out-of-network providers varies significantly by plan, and some policies have deductibles or maximum reimbursement limits. I'd suggest contacting your insurance company's member services line to understand your specific benefits.

For EMDR Intensives:

• A 50% deposit secures your booking and is non-refundable

• The remaining balance is due on the first day of your intensive

• Your scheduled time is reserved exclusively for you once booked

• Cancellations made at least 2 weeks before your first session forfeit the deposit only

• Cancellations made less than 2 weeks before your first session will be charged the full program fee
